Khanom Buang is a traditional Thai dessert. It is a pancake batter with sweet cream and you can choose the topping which are Foy-Tong(egg-yolk boiled in syrup), coconut or salty shrimp mixture.

“Khanom Buang Woeng Nakornkasem” is one of the most famous and delicious of this kind of snack. The owner slowly circled batter on a flat pan then his wife put some sesame seeds to increase smell and taste. Afterwards, the wife put sweet cream on that crispy pancake then garnished with the topping. Because of their secret recipe, this small cart was surround by a lot of people.

For me, I really love it, even though I had to wait there for around 20minutes!!!! But it’s worth. A crispy feeling, moist with sweet cream and also the price is acceptable; only 15 baht per one piece.
I want to suggest that you should go to Yaowarat by Taxi, Tuk Tuk or any public transportation because it’s really hard to find car parking around there. This cart had moved from Woeng Nakornkasem and now locate opposite “The Old Market” on Yaowarat Road.
Please try it and you will enjoy the texture of this dessert.
